    Joy Downey

    Welcome to 4th Grade! Eura Brown has been my school home for 21 years…17 of those being spent in the 4th grade classroom. I love my job and feel blessed to be a part of a wonderful faculty. I hold a B.S. in Elementary Education and a Masters Degree in Library Media from Jacksonville State University. My family is very important to me, and I spend as much time as possible with them. I have two precious daughters, Sally Ann, 19 and Camilee, 9. I like to read, involve myself in Bible studies, walk, and do just about anything outdoors. My greatest hope is that I can make a difference in the lives of those I have been so blessed to teach.

Red Cross Hat Day
April 11th, 2013

Eura Brown Elementary is proud to support the Etowah County Chapter of the American Red Cross. Today students and staff donated to the Red Cross for the privilege of wearing a hat or cap to school. We donned hats of every shape, color, and size, all in fun and for a good cause.
